Interior Letters
Show off your business with affordable interior letters
Why Interior Letters?
Interior letters or “Lobby letters” provide a simple way to portray the desired feel and image of your company to customers. When someone walks into a lobby or a store, one of the first things they will see is the unique signage on the wall. These letters can be used in the lobby of office buildings, in hallways, and on the interior of retails and businesses.
These signs are designed specifically for indoor use. Unlike plastic letters or large letters, interior letters are made of materials that are unable to withstand the outdoor weather. These letters are made using foam, acrylic, and thin sheets of aluminum. While these letters are very durable, they are best suited indoors.
Interior letters helps you to achieve the look of metal letters while being cost efficient. Because our interior letters aren’t made entirely of metal, we are able to provide a low cost option for high quality letters. Our lowest priced letter starts at $5.60, but keep in mind that color, size, and other customization does change the cost of the letters. Even with additional costs, if there are any, you are able to have the letters and look that you want at a low price.

Common Uses of Interior Letters
Interior letters serve a variety of purposes. They can be used to make a great first impression in the lobby or reception area of your office building. They can also be installed in boardrooms to add to the sophisticated atmosphere. They make for a great eye catcher at the entrance or interior of a retail store. Our signs can also make a great accent for a display in a museum, or any other type of display. Whatever it is, our signs are a simple way to make your company, business, or display stand out.

Mounting Options Explained
When ordering letters, you’ll need to consider how they will need to be mounted. Will you be mounting the letters outside to brick or inside to drywall? Mounting options are available to suit any situation including outside and indoor environments. Mounting packages include required pieces such as screws, pads, plastic blocks, stand-offs, adhesives, strips, nuts, and studs.
Your consultant will help you choose which mounting option will be best for your situation. Mounting is an additional cost to your basic order. Keep in mind that if you do not install using an approved method, your warranty may not apply. Self-installation is surprisingly easy, with no need to hire a sign company. We will even send instructional videos on how to install the plastic letters when we ship them. We are dedicated to making the process as painless for you as we can.
Some mounting options include,
No mounting:
Letters with no mounting hardware, Laminated Letters can be attached to the mounting surface with a combination of adhesive or double faced tape applied by the installer, based on surface and letter weight.

Studs:
Stud blocks are solvent bonded to letter backs to receive a stud. These blocks will require the letters to stand-off the mounting surface approximately 3/8″-1/2″. Drilling Patterns are required for this installation.
- Spacing varies based on size of the letters
- At least 1/4″ thick
- Stud size may also vary
- Option for stainless steel studs
Pad:
Pads are plastic disks on the rear of the letters. The letters can be secured to the wall using a split stencil pattern or spacing tape guide and silicone adhesive. Adjustable pads are available upon request. Letters stand off the mounting surface approximately 3/8″-1/2″.

Combination (Studs and Pads):
Combination of studs and pads. Stud through a pad on the top portion of each letter, pads only on the bottom of each letter. Mounting procedure is the same as a stud mount with the addition of securing pads to the mounting surface with adhesive. Studs can be aligned in-line for brick or block mortar upon request. Letters stand off the mounting surface approximately 3/8″-1/2″. Drilling patterns are required for this installation.

Combination (All):
Combination all mounts have a stud through a pad on the top and bottom portion of each letter. Mounting procedure is the same as a stud mount.. Studs can be aligned in-line for brick or block mortar upon request. Letters stand off the mounting surface approximately 3/8″-1/2″. Drilling patterns are required for this installation.

Double Face Tape
Double face type mount comes with partial covered backs with a VHB, double faced tape. Heavier letters may require tape and adhesive (such as epoxy on acrylic) to properly secure letters. VHB tape is designed for interior, flat, installations. Secure the letters to the wall using a stencil pattern.

Full Coverage Double Face Tape
Same type of mount as the double face type, but the adhesive is a single piece that covers the entire letter. This is only for letters 4″ and under.

Flush Stud
Thicker letters (min. 3/8″ thick) can be drilled and tapped for stud installation. Specify if studs need to be in line for brick/ block mortar joints or rails.
